I’ve been practicing calisthenics long before I even knew it had a name. At just two years old, I dreamed of becoming a Power Ranger (and outdoing my brother), so I started gymnastics—unaware it would shape my entire life.
Over time, I discovered the incredible power of simple bodyweight exercises—push-ups, pull-ups, dips, and more. This training led me to compete on the Junior National Team, the Olympic National Team track, and eventually as a D1 athlete at Penn State, where I became a Big Ten and NCAA Champion.
Yet, people were often skeptical that my physique came from bodyweight workouts alone. Their disbelief sparked the idea for Clingman Fitness: a brand dedicated to proving you don’t need fancy machines to get strong—just the right knowledge, routines, and tools.
