I’m Chase Clingman, the founder of Clingman Fitness. I’ve been practicing calisthenics since before I even knew what it was called. At just two years old, I was chasing a dream to become a Power Ranger (and beat my brother at everything), which led me into gymnastics—a decision that would shape the rest of my life.
As I grew, I discovered the power of bodyweight exercises—push-ups, pull-ups, dips, core work—simple movements that created real results. That training led me to the Junior National Team, the Olympic development track, and eventually to Penn State, where I became a Big Ten and NCAA Champion.
Even with all that, people still questioned whether my physique came from calisthenics alone. That disbelief sparked the idea for Clingman Fitness: to prove you don’t need a gym full of machines to build real strength. All you need is the right knowledge, the right tools, and the drive to show up.
